I know a lot of gals struggle with gifting the men in our lives a Christmas present, so I’ve created a list of the top gifts that I would give to others.

Orange Hues for Fall Fashion

The hot, summer weather has finally been cooling down, so of course that means it’s getting cooler. Fall is literally right around the corner (in a couple of days!) and I find it the easiest season to style your outfits. It’s a transitional season where the temps are dropping, but it can still be a little warm here and there.

Long-sleeve shirts are one of my favorites to wear for the season. You’ll find so MANY colors in trend for the fall and every year I see that hues of orange are always popular. I picked out this light, burnt-orange blouse that’s only $25. You can wear it to work, lunch, and even on a night out.

Now everyone is dying to wear BOOTIES. It’s every girls favorite, right?! I tend to be so picky when picking out colors for booties, but I draw towards a cognac or taupe colored booties. The one I have on, is on sale for $60 and it’s perfect for your everyday outfits and best of all, at the pumpkin patch!

You can find so many items to mix and match for fall. It’s also the time of the year where you’re allowed to still wear shorts *if the weather allows it* and throw on a cute top and cardigan over. Happy Thursday, lovelies! In a week it’ll be the Fourth of July and I’m going to share with y’all how to dress “up” for the holiday.

First up, I picked this top up at a local boutique here (Revival 23). I thought to myself “wow this would be perfect for the fourth of July”. I mean, don’t you agree? It’s red and floral and even has hints of blue. It screams July 4th! I can’t find the exact top, but I am linking similar ones (one and two). Now, I know some of you would rather throw on a t-shirt, but finding a dressy top that’s also flowy is perfect for whatever festivities you’ll be attending.

Denim shorts pair perfectly for a dressy top so I went with a darker blue. My shorts shown are from Volcom, but I am linking this similar one. If you don’t want to wear blue denim, then opt for a white one like this.

Since I have the red and blue already, of course I needed some white in the outfit so I wore these. These slides have been so popular, but I finally got my hands on them and I will be wearing these often.

Finding an outfit for the 4th of July is so easy and for me, probably the only reason I have to wear anything red! As long as you have the main colors, that’s really all you need, so I hope this helped prep you up for the upcoming holiday! Stay safe and have a great Fourth of July!

My June Favorites

It’s officially summer *yay*! I’ve been on summer break for over a month now, but my kids have only been out for two weeks. How those two weeks have really flown by. We’ve been non-stop busy and I really had minimal time to get dressed up or to look decent lol. Although I didn’t get ready much, these 6 products have been my essentials this month.

  1. Basic tees are a must have! This is my favorite tee by far and it comes in a bunch of other colors. I wear them all the time, no joke.
  2. I call these my mom shorts because they fit so good and cover all the areas. Even though they cover well, it’s still so stylish and has all the frays at the bottom so it’s perfect for the summer. Also, these shorts are on sale for $29 plus an extra 15% off!
  3. My go-to foundation is from Estee Lauder, but this is my all-time favorite drugstore brand for foundations. I’ve been getting tanned and my color has become darker, so I’d rather buy a drugstore brand instead of a higher-end one since my color will probably keep changing during the summer.
  4. I have been loving these sandals because they’re so comfy and trendy. I love the “H” cut out and it’s been a popular style for sandals.
  5. My kiddos have had swimming lessons for the first two weeks of summer, so finding a good sunscreen is a MUST. I love this one because it’s a spray which is hassle-free when you have kids (also tear free). You get all the spots you need covered AND it doesn’t leave a bunch of white residue on you.
  6. You need a good pair of sunnies when all the sun is beaming at you. I love these and I wear them almost daily. You can’t beat the price either!
