Target Spring Outfits

I have been loving all the spring fashion this year especially at Target. They always have affordable pieces that can be worn for many years. I picked out a few items that I think will be great additions to your closet.

Floral Spring Dress

I absolutely love this dress ($28)! It’s a burnt orange color with the prettiest ruffle sleeves. It also comes in three other colors and/or prints! I paired the dress with these studded strap sandals but you can also dress it up with some heels or wedges.

Tie-Dye Tank Top

This blue tie-dye shirt reminds me of the ocean and it’s super fun and cute for spring. You can wear them with shorts like I did, even linen shorts will go perfectly as well.

Scooped T-shirt

You cannot go wrong with a good basic t-shirt! I love a scooped neck style and this one is loose fitting. I do recommend to size up one for a looser fit. You can style this shirt in so many ways. I like a basic outfit so I threw on some shorts and sandals!

Linen V-Neck Blouse and Denim Shorts

I think this blouse is my favorite item from this Target haul! It fits true to size and you can dress it up OR down. It’s very light weight so you can feel comfy during the heat. These dark blue denim shorts are highly recommended! It fits true to size and have a great length (I like the booty coverage).

Short Sleeve Floral Dress

I love a good dress that you can pair with a denim jacket. This one is so flowy and comfy and the colors are so pretty.

Soft and Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies

Hey there! I wanted to share my chocolate chip cookies recipe with y’all because it is seriously so good. This recipe makes the most soft, chewy cookies so if you are a fan of softer cookies, then this recipe is for you!

I have been addicted to McDonald’s chocolate chip cookies so when I made these cookies, it completely satisfied my cravings. Chocolate chip cookies are so easy to make but I’ve tweaked some recipes to my own liking and these are my perfect kind of cookies.

I do recommend making these cookies with a stand mixer because I find that it mixes so much better, but a hand-held mixer will be just fine as well.

I will link some of the items I use in case it’s of any help!

ingredients

(makes 3 dozen cookies)

1 cup sugar

1 cup brown sugar

1 cup unsalted butter

2 eggs

2 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

directions

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.

Beat your sugar and butter together until it’s smooth and creamy. I use a low setting and then increase to medium-high.

Add in your eggs and mix well. Medium speed.

Then add in your vanilla.

Combine flour, baking soda, and salt into the mixer. For this part, I use the “stir” setting so the flour doesn’t fly everywhere. Then I increase the speed to a low-medium.

Add in your chocolate chips. You can use the mixer to combine or use a spatula to mix.

Bake for 8-10 minutes or until edges are golden.

Any brand of chocolate chips will do and you don’t have to get the semi-sweet ones
I want to add that I add about a cup of chocolate chips, but if you prefer more then add more! 🙂
I like the cookie dough balls in this size and they turn out pretty big. Of course, you can make them bigger to your liking.

Another thing is that I like using pre-cut baking sheets with the lines because it helps me manage the space better. Be careful with your placement because your cookies may touch if it’s not spaced well.

Here’s a MAJOR** tip. I transfer the cookies onto a cooling rack WITH the parchment paper on first. After a few minutes, I will then scoop out the cookies and add it on top of the cooling rack. Once it’s done cooling, then feel free to store it wherever you want.

A cooling rack is DEFINITELY needed because it allows the cookies to take shape and have that soft, moist texture.

Storage Organization That You Need

First post in 2021.. woot woot!!

When it’s the new year, I think all of us need a refresh and organizing helps us do that. Sometimes cleaning all your junk out can be tedious, but there are helpful storage items out there that can help cleaning be so much more fun.

I found all of these storage organization from Amazon so if you have a Prime membership, it will be on your doorstep in no time. They are all affordable as well!

All of these items can serve different purposes and I rounded up different organizers that I think will be useful for all of your homes. Some of it can even be used for multiple purposes like the bedroom, linen closet, bathroom, pantry, etc!

  1. A lazy susan can serve so many purposes. You can use them for your pantry, bathroom items for your hair or skincare, or even for a medicine cabinet. Also, these have some cups that can be pulled out!
  2. This stackable organizer is perfect for the pantry. You can add anything you want and still be able to see it from afar.
  3. Dresser organizers have been around for a while now and I think we all need it. You’ll be able to see all the items in front of you with the help of this!
  4. Who loves cereal?! If you do, these organizers are a MUST.
  5. For those of us who love make up, this will help you store all of your goodies. It pulls out too so that’s a plus.
  6. These bins can be used for any room in the house! I love them for my pantry but also use them in my linen closet so I can keep everything tidy.
  7. Drawer organizers will make your life so much easier. These will work for a junk drawer or even for your bathroom.
  8. These are the best organizers for canned goods or it can be used in the fridge!
  9. We all have some sort of tupperware, so having a lid organizer makes it all uniform and not cluttered.
  10. I love these for under the kitchen sink or even the bathroom sink! It’s good to store all the cleaning supplies in this.

Holiday Gift Guide: For Kids

I came up with two separate gift guides for boys AND girls. They mostly comprise of toys and if you’re not into gifting toys for kids, you can definitely find educational items or arts/crafts.

I personally gift my kids and nieces/nephews with toys because I love to spread joy for children during Christmas time. It’s something they look forward too and they all deserve a little something special they have been wanting.

Each guide I have comprise of multiple “popular” toys that kids are into this year. I think it all depends on each kid and what they’re into, but these are some good toy items that they will enjoy!

Holiday Gift Guide: For Him

I know we all get a little flustered and lost when trying to think of what to buy for the men in our life. This would be my trouble for the longest time!

Last year’s gift guide, I realized that it all depends on what your specific him likes. You have to find out what niche they are into. Clothes? Athletics? Outdoors? Handy? Once you figure that out, you can start finding so many perfect gifts!

My gift guide this year dives into all aspects and what I think are great gifts for any man. Some items are a little more pricy than others, but they are all great gifts and still affordable.
